Education

An important component of the SAI mission is to promote interdisciplinary education in Systems Assurance, through academic programs in Syracuse and beyond.

An innovative aspect of our academic programs is the intentional integration of the unique technical, policy, management, and cultural specialties and perspectives offered by the four different Schools: the L.C. Smith College of Engineering and Computer Science, the School of Information Studies, the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, and the Newhouse School of Public Communications.

In recognition of our efforts, the National Security Agency has designated Syracuse University as a Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education.

The National Science Foundation has recently our Scholarship for Service (SFS) grant, to educate graduate students in systems assurance. More details about these scholarships, including application materials, are available on our SFS page.
